Safety Shows
These are shows designed specially for schools, covering the basics of everyday safety. The key features of all my safety shows are as follows:
1. Educational & Entertaining
The best way to teach children is to make it fun and entertaining. When students are having fun they are more likely to understand and absorb the message, including:
Traffic Lights, sequence, meaning of colours;
Seat Belt and why it's important to buckle that belt;
999 How to dial, what happens, a live example;
Never make a hoax call;
Awareness of the helpful professions, Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Lollipop Patrol.
2. Magic
Everyone loves magic. That's why I have found that using magic to illustrate the key points works so well. When they remember the magic, they remember the message.
3. Audience Participation
Children don't want to just sit and watch, they want to get involved, and when they get involved, they learn.
